About the Burlesque Collective

The Greensboro Burlesque Collective was started as a community building project to bring back the art of burlesque. We run with no hierarchy and operate on full consensus. Through singing, dancing, acting, and laughing we want to bring back burlesque comedy to Greensboro, providing a safe place for openly sexual, feminist, and queer thought. Our burlesque is our self expression of our social, political, and sexual views. Burlesque meetings are open to anyone and happen every Saturday at 4:30 at the Community Space at 404 Guilford Ave.
