GCAC Website Under Reconstruction

The GCAC website will be in and out of service for the next few days as we upgrade to a new content management system. The new site will allow people who are involved in GCAC Projects to login to the site as users and create or edit content collaboratively throughout the site.

This content management system is a Drupal-based project, named CivicSpace. CivicSpace is "a free open-source software platform for grassroots organizing and civic activity. It allows individuals and organizations to build online communities that communicate effectively, act collectively, and coordinate coherently with a network of other related organizations and communities."

Installation and customization of this system will take several days, so please be patient. Soon your familiar GCAC website will be online and kicking, better than ever. All the previous content will return, as well as the GCAC Community Events Calendar.

After installation, everyone involved in the GCAC is encouraged to sign up for a user name and password so you can start participating in this exciting new stage of our web presence. Whether you drum in Cakalak Thunder, cook with Food Not Bombs, ride bikes with the bike collective, or dream of ink with the Screen Printing Collective, you can be a part of shaping the direction this website takes.
